I’m pleased to welcome you onto my personal website, Truth Told blog.
Here I will be commenting about navigating life on my own terms as a Christian in a cluttered world. The world we find ourselves in is so noisy, and presenting aggressively various world views and ideologies. If I want to take control of my own life’s possibilities then it is important, through discipline, to map my own route. This blog will attempt to present choices and possibilities I have discovered or explored through the turmoil of having lived and experimented in living for 84 years.
Let’s Get Started
The very first thing to set straight is that I am a believer and follower of Jesus Christ. My own world view is formed by the Bible which I believe to be God’s very word and to be accurate and unchanging. However, I readily engage in discussions with those who have differing views and come at those views from a different perspective than my own.
Some of the blogs you will find here will deal with unpacking scripture, in order to learn relevancy for dealing with situations in today’s world. Some of these blogs will present commentary on world, national, or local events that I am finding impactful to my life. Other blogs will deal with lifestyle issues such as; choosing a career, a job, starting a business, retiring, etc.
